I am asked often if my house is filled with Junk By Jenny wares. The answer is…sort of. Following a junk pick, I’ll often bring one or two pieces into our home to stage with. Most often, their time with me is short-lived, as I enjoy sharing the vintage pieces with customers instead.
I really like to mix old with new. I really love collections. I also had a deep love of nostalgic and sentimental pieces. Each month, I will allow readers a “Sneak Peek” into my world and comforts of our home. We live in an turn-of-the-century home, built-in 1899. The previous owners made life easier for us, with several updates, while still maintaining the charm of the home.
February’s Sneak Peek
Our galley-style upstairs hallway is the ideal spot for our children’s art. It is fun for the kids to change out their art on a monthly basis, of which we keep from year-to-year. We used a simple bronze curtain rod with panel clips to make changing out the monthly art easy. The Picasso quote was made with my Cameo Silhouette cutting machine. I nabbed the vintage-inspired tin somewhere on my many excursions.
