On this frigid February day, Junk By Jenny warmly extends birthday wishes to her Junk Hunk, Jon.
Loyd Christmas had Harry. Walter White had Pinkman. Goose had Maverick. Junk By Jenny has Jon.
Like many of you, I have a willing husband who supports my crazy ideas. In my unending quest for bringing new life to every piece of junk I encounter, Jon is the one who pulls the suburban over to help me load my latest and greatest treasures. He allows me to overtake our garage with inventory and my work in progress. His hunting trailer often houses my junk instead. He is my power tool operator. He doesn’t seem to mind mass producing pieces, especially if Coors Light and football are involved. He will go to the hardware store for one more can of spray paint at closing time, so I can continue upcycling. He helps me load, unload, and re-load the countless pieces of inventory stored at my family farm. Jon is even set to join me as my right hand man at my first ever vendorship experience at Junk Bonanza in April, where 10,000+ will gather to hunt for the best junk in the upper midwest.
So, for the fella who is often in the shadows of Junk By Jenny, I wish to put him the spotlight to say Happy Birthday and thank you for allowing me to chase my dream, one piece of junk at a time.
